IMPORTANT SPECIAL NOTES:
Whenever possible, Four Seasons tries to promote from within. Therefore we will give strong preference to candidates for regular teaching positions who have a relationship with the company already. Several of these positions have developed because the client recognized the exceptional ability of their regular teacher and requested that they work increased hours or full time with them. We will, occasionally, hire a "fresh" Corporate Liaison, that is, one who has not started out as regular staff, but we do prefer to keep it within the family whenever possible.
However, one reason we often do go outside our family for this position is that many corporations do want staff with intermediate to advanced Japanese ability. Many of our regular teachers do not have strong Japanese ability since their focus has been teaching. Therefore candidates with less English teaching experience/education and more Japanese language/life experience may be better suited for this position. In addition, we have sometimes found candidates with particularly interesting histories to appear to be exceptional matches with some of our clients and have therefore offered them for our client's consideration without a specific opening available. Register now to be considered for the next available position.
Japanese ability (Japanese Profficiency Level 2 or higher), BA/BS and Japanese driver's license required. Good Japanese translation/interpretation skills a must. Engineering or business background valuable. Knowledge of cars and automotive industry useful. Familiarity with standard computer software a plus. Ability to adapt to local Japanese culture while representing company in international marketplace. Comfortable with top-management. Must be good communicator, self-starter and fast learner who is looking for long-term opportunity with first-rate Japanese company. Available for 2 or 3 interviews and able to relocate to Shizuoka soon.
Excellent compensation package for right person. Three month trial period at start of contract. Paid vacation, use of a company car, furnished housing, health insurance. Long-term commitment sought.
